I like the idea of the drag bars mdog, i take it yours are fitted with no change to wires/cables? I was going to keep my stock black bars, but them drags look pretty good.
you can make your own and just go up as far as your cables will let you... it is real easy! i can show you how to do it... i made mine here is what they look like

I spose I better pull the tank off and see if theres any slack wire under there as well to make the job easier.
I put the 4.5's on my SG with stock bars and all I had to do was loosen the clamp and relieve the stress on the front brake hose.
Just remember to protect the tank before you start.
