Default WOT Question

Does anyone have an A/F ration of 13.1-13.5 or higher running for 90%-WOT?

I don't understand why most maps richen it out...the canned one I think puts it down around 11.5...

If you're going WOT I assume you want some power... What's the deal?

Thanks

Monk, you tune to what any particular motor wants.

Theory and practice do not always walk hand in hand.

Snapshot of my AFR tables below.

My motor loves these #s.

11.5 A/F ratio is way to rich for a Harley, unless it has a turbo on it!

High 12s mid 13s is the norm on a naturaly asperated HD.

What is the thinking in the SERT manual behind suggesting that a richer A/F is needed under high loads? I'm running WOT right now at 13:1, I would rather have it at 13.2 or higher, but the manual is suggesting something more like 12.8... so I'm confused...

I'm assuming anytime I'm at WOT the bike will be under "heavy load", don't ride it up top at WOT all that often
