Lone Wolf saga.
You know the line,Harley is selling the aura or lifestyle more than anything. If you buy a harley you automatically turn into a wicked lone wolf badass who drinks Jack straight up andhas a pitt bull on a barbed wire leash.
Easyrider has done what they can to enhance the "Lifestyle".If you ever actually MET the Easyrider folks youd realize they aint bikers at all. They are GQstyle buisnessmen selling a product.
I have always owned Harleys since I got out of high school.I ahve long hair and drink Tequilla straight.I also work every day and love my wife of 27 years.I also have two daughters.I dont own a pit bull and know when to say when.
I also had a neighbor who used to coach softball for the local kids.He always used to come over and jones over my bikes and said that one day..Ill have a harley.
Well he bought a shovelhead Lowrider a while back.He started hanging out at the local gin mill and started dating strippers.Left his wife and kids and went with the stripper. They lost the house and he looks like he aged 10 years in 6 months.
You can buy the Harley, but keep yourself in check. Most guys selling the lifestyle aint living it.

Well...not to get off track, but alot of guys and gals buying Harley's right now do want to have their weekend image. Its an escape from the weekly grind. So, they don't shave from Thursday until Monday morning or wear more skimpy outfits (gals only please!) for the weekend. I'd say, as long as they're not trying to pretend to be 1%er's let 'em have their fun. Sounds like your buddy went way the **** overboard, bro. As for me, yeah - 10/31/07 I took delivery of my first Harley. A huge check mark for me as I always said I'd own one by age 40 (made it by a few months). I've been riding for 20 years - CB350, RD400 - even owned a friggin' Honda Rebel way back in the day 'cuz that's all I could afford. I have short hair, because I am a pilot on a private jet. I drink Jack straight up, have been married for about 7 years with2 great kids, and have 2 cats. My brothers in my club know who I am - they knew me before I bought the Bob. When I ride and hang out, I do let my guard down a whole lot more than I can at my job. That's just the way it is. Do I "pretend" to be a badass? Absolutely not. I leave that to the guys who are.

Eagles...Skulls...Wolves... I love 'em all for reasons I posted previously.

As long as they're done in black.

Oh, man!! hahahaa - I said that, too. Until my wife told me about her cowboy fantasy. Bro, I'll wear that hat whenever she asks!!! For some reason alot of gals dig guys in the cowboy hat. Then again, I did work for a couple years as a ranch hand, so it wasn't too much of a stretch.
