Another vote for Cycle Shack. I have the tapered slip-ons.
They have been making them for years.
Can't beat them for sound, performance and price.

CYCLE SHACKS HAVE REMOVABLE BAFFLES EXCEPT FOR THE TAPERED SLIP-ONS RIGHT?EITHERWAY ILL BE INSTALLING SOME SLASH DOWNS IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO. JUST BOUGHT SOME FROM A VERY GENEROUS MEMBER HERE (07 STREETBOB) THANKS KEITH
They're not slash downs though, they're what they call baloney cut.
You can change the baffles if you decide you want to. I liked them
just like they are from the factory.
Just installed my Rinehart slip-ons. Haven't fired it up yet.
I got pulled off the job by headquarters (they think), and still
have to go out and torque everything down.
07Bobber, the tapered slip ons do not have the removable baffel, but the tapered muffler pipe for about $100+ more do have a choice of removable baffels.
Some take the baffels out and use them as drag pipes. If you go tocycle shack web site theyshow these same pipes on big motors pushing 110-120tq or more on T-Man Builds and something to consider.Cycle Shackpipes are specificly designed for the HD TC engine and forracing with the option of changing baffels to optimize tuning and performance.Theyare a great choice in a street application too using the right baffel. The baffels are located at the endheld with a smallbolt for e-z removal.
The New 3" Cycle Shack Slip On's Through Drag Specialties, are the same mufflers as the old Screaming Eagle II's . We took one apart and there Identical. And sound exactly the same.. Just in case.
