OK... my winter list is growing. Now that my engine build is done, I plan on working on some cosmetic and suspension items on the bike before next spring. I am planning on installing the lowering kit on the bike and changing rubbers to MS880s. My question is, what do I do with the brakes.
I have considered switching to dual discs on the front, but have heard that I could get significant improvements to breaking power by simply switching pads (which would cost far less). What are your experiences with just moving to a higher quality pad vs. moving to dual discs on the front? I'm interested if someone can provide a percentage of improvement on pad switch compared to dual discs.
Thanks all for the continued assistance. My bike wouldn't be as nice as it is without all of the great feedback.
