Not to be the bearer of bad news, But it looks like they mounted your front tire backwards.. Its rolling in the wrong direction..
Maybe its just the photo.........
EDIT==== My Bad
After looking at jtees photos it looks as if this is the way there supposed to be.. It looks as if the tread would be forcing the water to the center on the tire (hydroplane) but I guess not. Sorry for the false alarm........... RR
I went with the Metzler 110 on the front and 160 on the rear.
How do you like your Metz? I am fixing to order next week and got this same combo picjked out..atleast I think it is..looks like same thread pattern.
Thanks
Just be advised the Metz 160 is probably 1/2" narrower than the OEM Dunlop 160. You probably won't get any more miles out of a ME880, either.
I strongly suggest trying an SE 180. Same price as the stock dunlop 160. Feels better than the Metz 60 and meatier.
If that is the ME880 he posted pick of, thats not the same ones I am looking at, cant find the Model # now to save me and the paper is at work. I am not looking to get more miles, but want a better feeling tire...more traction.
I love the Metz, my rear tire doesn't seem like I will get the miles that I did with the Dunlop but it has a much better ride feeling. I was going to go with the 170 or 180 but some guys that I ride with don't like how they are in the twisties can't get over like you can on the 160. I will see how this front is in the twisties if it sucks then back to the100.

You will probably get the same or a little better mileage with the ME880, and it is a little more sure footed, especially on uneven roads (groves, etc.). Maybe better tracking in the rain.
You have to be careful when you are nearing the end-of- tread life. It won't "warn" you like the Dunlop, except maybe in the corners.
Also, make sure you run about 44 lbs in the rear tire. Max air pressure on the Metz is 50 psig vs 42 psig on the Dunlop.
Good luck with the Metz, and I know you will like the way they perform.
