Bummer. I saw him 11 trucks in the 70's at Green Vally Race City in Dallas. To me as a kid, he was larger than life. People say his jumps were lame compared to the stunts (backflips, 360 whips, etc.) pulled these days. They forget he was on a diesel pig XR750 with 5" of suspension travel.

How about those who can still ride this time of the year ride with your pass. pegs down this weekendin his honor. Yes he was a stunt rider, maybe bit off but basically rode a stocker not some cut up and lighten bike to do the stunts and he had quite a following to boot. Con dolences to his family.
