Saw a Fat Bob sitting side by side w/ a Night Train at the steeler. If I had two choose between the two It would be the Train. They were both the dark Red Denim, Not a bad color if you had to go with something other than black.
When I saw that wheel and tire sticking out from the dealer lineup the other day I thought "Wow, that is one huge front wheel." After I looked at the rest of the bike I wasn't so hard on the looks. It actually looked pretty good. I bet it rides pretty good, also. I laughed at my initial reaction. I thought Harley was selling a line of wheel barrows to go along with the HD jerky.
IMO it is ugly no matter what you call it. Looks like a fat girl wearing shorty shorts and glasses.
ouch amigo....got my FB 'cause she appealed to me, not what others may think (kinda like what they say about opinions)
.....I wouldn't dare think of offendingyou by sayingmost of thewomen bikers I knowin Texas ride low riders.
I wouldn't.
I too am not big a fan of the Fat Bob. But, I have been know to throw a few drinks down and wake up with something that's neither thin norpretty.
I guess my advice to the Fat Bob owners would be to get out there and have another drink!
Just kidding, in reality though, it's like you said, opinions are like a$$holes, everybody has one...

(geezus I just recalled a bad memory...this one stuck out 'cause I remember beingcovered in red)
I think the magazines didn't do the look of this bike an justice. As soon as I saw one at a dealer I thought it looked awesome. First one I saw was the Candy Red and I fell in love with that bike.
