...until my contract ends in June. I've been drooling over the bikes here and miss riding. I'll be home in March for vacation, but I have a hunt planned in TX for some hogs and it'll be too cold at home in MA with the likelyhood of still having snow on the roads. That means the bike will stay in storage at the dealership until June. I can't wait to see how the new mods look then. Unlike you guys that have been doing your mods or having someone do them for you, you get to see the results as soon as they're done. I have to have the dealership send me pictures! Augh, the agony!!!
On the bright side, I'll be home on the 11th of June for good and the Laconia Bike Week Rally starts on the 15th. I've already booked my hotel room for my wife and I for the week!
I pine for my bike if i'm away on business for a week (oh yeah my wife and kids too [:-] ) ... I don't know how you do it.
All the best for your winter in Iraq ... I have contractor friends out there too ... your service is appreciated, good to know you'll be home before the worst of the heat next year.
Whacking hogs in Texas, in Marchsounds like a lot more fun than trying to ride in Mass. in March. I wish you the best for a safe 'tour' and a quick return to you bike and family! Laconia Bike Week should be a great reward for your hard work. Godspeed, Jake.
I would love to store your new bike for you. I would even run it a couple hundred miles every weekend to make sure the battery stays up. I might be able to send1 or 2 pictures. Have a safe hunting trip. Be careful over there.
