I have been following this forum for about 6 months now while I was in Iraq and learned a lot of great stuff. I Ordered a 2008 FXDC while I was over there and can't wait to get it deliveryon 2 April. For those who are over there now be safe and I will probally be back sooner than I know.
Already debateing on moveing up the delivery date I am starting to get antsy. Went to PA this weekend to do some hunting and My dad picked up a anaversery adition Softail, and one of my cousins traided his Sporty in for a night train so it made the wait worse.
You've got about 4 more months of patience in you than I do. I'd have to get it just to look at it if that's all I could do for a while... Welcome to the forum.
If you have a place to keep it, think of all the mods you could do between now and april and all the "tax" you could pay.
Welcome back home! I am sure you are happy to be with friends and family again. I, too, ordered a bike from ENCS. Mine will be delivered in January. I should be able to pick it up sometime late January. I am in Afghanistan right now and won't be returning until then. I am looking forward to spending time with my family and basically enjoying a little normalcy! No more going to the bunker for rocket attacks or dodging bullets while out on missions.
Welcome home and to the forum, good luck with your bike.
I also noticed another reply in this thread from someone out of the country "UH60Hwkdrvr". To both of you and all who serve and see this, Good Luck, be safe, and Thank You for you courage and dedication.
