Default Why we need a garage...

This post is really just making fun of ourselves for living in an apartment and not having a garage. My husband is currently sitting on a plastic chair in the parking lot installing his 4 1/2" chrome bullet headlight he got for his birthday. We tried to get it on there last night, but it got too dark and, since we were in the parking lot, we didn't have enough hands to hold the flashlight and the headlight at the same time... oh well, there's always next year! Hopefully we'll have a completed picture by tonight... if it doesn't get dark early....

Husband? There was a wedding? If so congats. Devils drinking the wrong beverage for parking lot upgrades needs beer. I'm jealous of the weather I'm watching freezing rain here in KCMO.

Yeah, this headlight install has been a real b*tch! It wasn'tan HD bullet headlight so it wouldn't mount right up. The light wasn't threaded on the mount like the hd light, and the shape makes it a PIA to mount any other way. I'm on my way to pick up a soldering iron and finish the wiring (wich was different as well).

MAKING things fit sure is fun, huh!

Devil, congrats. Not sure if you saw my recent thread - but I just installed a 4.5 bullet this week that I got from Eastern Performance on ebay. I used the mount that came with it and easily wired it in once I found out the color codes. Give me a shout if you think I can help.

I WILL have a garage, someday! Bike's in a 12' X 14' shed. Years ago, when me and the OL were in our apartment, I changed the clutch in her Datsun 200SX, by myself, in the parking lot. Pulled the tranny down onto my chest and scrootched out from under the car, made the swap and put it back in the same way.

Love the fact that you at least have the weather to be doing this in the parking lot at this time of year! Had to test ride my bike with snow flurries hittin me in the face the other day. [:@]

Makes me thankful I have a garage though.
