Good weekend so far
Saturday was beautifull riding weather, which means it was kinda chilly but no rain or snow so I went for a shakedown ride. It finally sounds like a Harley should. I like these suckers. However, when I got home I couldn't resist revving it once more before shutting her down. That set of the alarm on the OL's car, not really a good thing but it was hard to stop grinning.
Pros: Lighter weight than stock cans, easy install, look good, and sound great.
Cons: Can't think of any.
Woke up this morning (Sunday) to snow so no riding today. But that's cool, gave me a chance to put on the new headlight housing. It's a Custom Chrome item, with frenched look rim. Only bummer was I had to snip the wires but that was unavoidable. I think I've got the light adjusted OK but will have to wait till I ride in the dark to make sure.
The bike is a 2007 FXD in pacific blue pearl...it looked good the day I bought it but it's looking better all the time. I guess the next project will be a Ness A/C and V&H fuel pack. That'll hafta wait till after the hollidays.
Life is good,
Wayne
