I did this converstion last month. This is a 30 tooth Evolutions Industries sprocket and chain for my 07 superglide. I am running this set
up instead of the compensator.

I'd like to do the same thing. Do you not have a compensator? Does that make the bike run any different. Sorry if that is a dumb question but I'm not sure about primary drive stuff.

I am rebuilding my bike after my accident in May! I didn't post anything here about it, I hadn't found this board yet. Long story short, 1:30 am, cager crossed double yellow in a curve, I swerved to miss and got into the gravel at the edge of the road. Broke my back. Messed up the bars & just about everything on them & flattened the derby cover enough that it wouldn't seal. I've got most of my pieces purchased, but had to quit buying parts due to the holidays & medical bills. I'll get the remaining pieces after the holidays have passed. I very anxious to get the bike up & running again! Can't wait for my maiden run on the new look for my scoot.
Had 1-piece pull-back bars. got4-1/2 x 1" risers & 12" (?)mini-apes.
had short arm rect. mirrors. gotlong arm 3" rounds.
replacing lots of chrome parts with wrinkle black!
brokethe mickey mouse looking turn signals so replacing with fronts that go between the tubes, and rears are replaced w/ a new liscense plate bracket w/ signals built in.
My gas tank took a beating as well. but it'll just have to suffer for a year, and I'll get a new tank & paint my tins next winter.

1969k10. I glade to see your getting back on your horse, I too have received injuries, but many folks allow injuries tostop them. It's encouraging to see folks jump back like you, good luck.
Drhoo. It does change the gearing by about +300RPMs. Bike performs great, best mod I've done yet. There is a lot of information on this under "compensator" inthe tran/driveline forum. Check it out.
