A warm spring day and the mountains seem to be calling. The Ol' 65 has been resting for a few months and is ready for a workout. It's a restless ride until the traffic thins out, but then the road opens up and I own it. The air is crisp and getting cooler with the climb. On the crest of a ridge and off to the west I see a river, flowing swiftly with the remenants of the winter's snow. An hour goes by and I find myself on the side of the river that seemed so far off a short time ago.
I follow that river along the curvy roads down the mountain.......
just to see where it goes.

Hi! My name is Kevin, but I'm known as kid<2>Nite. Been riding for 30+ years and my bikes of choice tend to be of the vintage type: 51 Hummer - 56 custom Pan - 65 stock pan. One day I will pick up one of those "Cadillac" bikes for the long rides. Perhaps we'll meet along the road, Until then...ride safe...ride like you're invisible

Howdy Kevin, welcome to Harley country. I really like your intro, I could feel and see everything that you said. I see that you like what I call the classics, any chance of getting a pic or two thanks. Enjoy the ride
Hi Kevin,
Welcome. Man that was an intro. Touched me. It's a drizzly day here in the northwest, with hopes of a good day tomorrow. To hell with spring, I wanna go ride right now. Fall is beautiful, and I love the mountains and rivers like you pictured.
