Though I am really enjoying my '08 Wide Glide, I do miss the "sound" of my Evo. I had SE slip-ons and SE A/C on the previous '97 Conv. Anyway, when I add the SERT, SE A/C and VH Big Radius (with BC Thunder Baffles), will I hear that Evo sound? I hope so, my '08 Wide Glide music is disappointing at best.

That sounds like a well known problem, I bought Mumsy a Streetbob 06'er.
Swapped the originalsfor the S&S (for race track only) slip-on's, but it sounds still like s##t.
Nothing sounds bettter than the 80" EVO or Shovelhead's

Similar to what the guy at the impound lot said to Joe Dirt - "I can sell you a (Harley), but it ain't gonna be no (Shovelhead)".

My setup isloud and performance is good enough for me. I don't mind the sound at all. It is still pure Harley.

I feel your pain. That's one of the things I like the least about the TC's 88/96. Exhaust doesn't help to get the sound of the shovels,evo's. Some cams and other goodies helps but still not the same.

These don’t sound bad, listen to the 2.25 clip, you need 1/2 way decent speakers. I’m thinking of going this route after porcelain coating headers and mufflers, haven’t made up my mind yet. I’m planning on PCIII big sucker and perhaps these, I would MAYBY consider Harleys answer to this but they are WAY over priced IMHO
