I am having a hard time getting the old rod to let loose of the cap. Can you explain the trick about that part or did yours just pop right out? I see the little black ball fitting you mentioned. thanks...

If you pull and twist, it will come out of the cap. Sort of lean it to one side as you're doing it, and roll it at the same time.

no way ... thanks clutch for the inspiration ... when I get a workshop sorted I'll be making one with my own energy in it ... its a great piece of work. Like the photos on flickr too ... the Bud shifter is nice work ... and Kim is looking good too

Wow, I need to get me a grinder. Great knife I would stab someone to get one, but I have no knife. I hate when that happens. I guess I will need to make one.

Matkiwi.........thanks for the compliment on Kimberly, but I hope you read the comment and just didn't look at her picture. She is a pain in the a$$. Pretty women always are. She turned 55 years old,3 days ago (those pictures were taken about 18 months ago when she was 53), and now I have to listen to her bitch about how old she is feeling. I give almost anything to be single again.
