Derby cover question
Hey Yellowhawk, I would find out for sure what the oil amount is required for your dyna.I know on most dynas if you overfill the primary you will experience clutch problems (like finding neutral)most only take 26 ozs. and the torque on those screws are in inch pounds not foot. No torque wrench, you might get by just snugging those puppies down. Good luck, merry Christmas, have a blessed and safe new year.
no just kidding
the bike dyno at 100hp & 100T
that was a quick calibration they did on it.
im gogin to have them go back and fine tune it in

As far as the fluid change goes, I haven't bought the service manual yet and I didn't get an owner's manual with the bike. I'm not sure what type fluid, quantity, or how exactly to do it yet. I would assume drain the old out the bottom and fill through the derby cover with about a quart of new?
An ounce less would be better than an ounce more. So, just dump a quart in her............ HD Primary lube is fine, or any 10w40/10w50 dino or synthetic, just stay away from those oils marked as "enery saving" (they're too slick). Some folks use ATF....... I wouldn't advise dumping a quart of bottled water in there
.Also, good advise on loosening the torqx screws on the derby cover first, just in case. Some folks have had problems, cuase the factory guys got em too tight, or had already stripped the heads on the bolts.
Your owners manual, covers most that info although a service manual is a very good investment.
