I used a hairdryer and a plastic scaper so I wouldn't scratch the paint then a little lighter fluid to get rid of the adhesive

I heard they would peel off at 160 mph............... Tried that 1st, but realized I peeled off at just a little over 120 mph.

Had to resort to hairdryer and WD. I did mine in the winter of 2006 outside with 20 mph winds blowing. it took awhile.

At about 40 degrees, I took a red shop rag, eased it under one end and pulled steady, they peeled right off with a little force. Took WD40 and a soft rag and buffed off the stickum, went to car wash and washed off WD40, easy as pie.

After reading this thread, and having nothing to do, I used a hair dryer, slowly pealed them off, rolled the big chunks with my finger then finished it with the "Goo Gone" - total time- about 20 minutes per reflector- no scratches at all - I did it while watching the Pats set their record - Thanks Guys.

I have the black denimand removed themwith no problem or damage to the paint.

Procedure I used :
1. Pour very hot waterover the reflectors.
2. Take a PLASTIC putty knife and slowly (keeping the pressure UPunder the reflectorbase) run the knife under the reflectors.
3. Remove the glue residue with windex, first rubbing in with your fingers to loosen the gunk, thenwipe offwith a cotton cloth.
