Does anyone know how to remove the rear fender reflectors without screwing up the black denim paint.I tried searching the topic with no luck. The front ones came off easy with fishing line.
aint no way you did a search on that and nothin came up.lol
anyways get some 3m adhesive remover from wally word, spray on let soak then use some dental floss cut through the
adhesive. after reflector off keep usin 3m adhesive and all the gunk will come off without harming your paint.
I just took mine off the other day. I've got the black denim bob.
The dental floss maneouver will take them off in about 3 seconds. Really ...no heat, no nothing, just saw at it with the floss and they come right off.
The glue was a bit different. I used goo-gone. Put some on a rag and then applied to the glue. It took some patients, but just keep applying and rubbing and it will eventually eat away at the glue. No damage to the paint.
Also, the glue has like a padding or something in it that you can scrape off to speed up the process, but you have to be careful not to go too deep, or slip and scratch the paint.
