However FWIW,looking for a map fortheSERT On an 06 Dyna low rider.
Saw a post about replacing the #8 injectors with #25's Is there a performance gain with that mod? was told by the dealer parts mgr, that the #8 injectors will support up to 103 CI. Anyone have any prior knowledge to share?

The 8* injectors on my 06 Low Rider were replaced with the 25* injectors. Why? Because the bike would cut out after pulling away after initial startup, and that was after allowing it to warmup for two minutes. The dealer replaced them under warranty. I've since not had any issues with the bike cutting out and it does seem to run smoother.

Thanks Black Bart, I'll have to look further into the advantage of 25* injectors. The bike runs fine so no issues and just need to remap. I'll check the vtwin forums and see if there is a map posted their. 3 more mos. of winter. Damm
it always helps to post in specifics -

Thanks Mud, you are right , I do need to be more specific. Scoot is a 06 FXDL Lowrider with O2 sensors, 8* injectors ( I think?)
Ness Big Sucker, SE II Slip fit mufflers 80258-99A Pre EPA. Using a SERT and looking for a map that is close. I know theSERThas the canned maps but from readingand researching still coming up with questions abouta good map to run that keeps the bike from running on the lean side.
One of these days I post up some pics of the bike and mods once it warms up a bit and can get outside. low of 7 degrees tonight and doesn't include the wind chill factor. A bit Nippley, colder that a witch's Tit in January. Feels like Ice Station Zebra!

Trotter, WS6 Formula, Thanks!!! You guys Rock.
I'll take a look at those. Would you recommend the VE Settings as well? how would one know what injectors I'm running and are the 8*'s fine or is there an advantage to run with the 25*'s?

My SERT comes in today and I'm chomping at the bit for a compatible map. I know there are two canned maps for something similar to my setup (below), but, I'm wondering if anyone has something a little more tweaked to work from. [ul][*]06 Dyna[*]SE A/C[*]SEIIs (pre EPA)[*]Big City Thunder Baffles[*]25 degree injectors [/ul]If not, I'm reading that I should probably go with the 8 degree version of the map to richen it up a bit more. Correct? Mud and WS6, would the tables posted on the thread linked up-thread be a better alternative for me? If so, is that emailable?
On a side note, the recently replaced injectors and the remap they did on the bike has it running very, very smooth. I almost hate to change it, but, I know it's still lean. I can smell and hear it, if that makes any sense. Otherwise, I've found I'm going a lot faster sooner these days.

TIA,
Whiff
