Default Heat Shield

Will the front heat shield from a wide glide fit on a street bob? The wife got forward controls and the factory shield has the cut-out from the mids.

Yep, it will.Or one from a SE dyna which is what I put on mine. I'm having new pipes put on next week. I'll sell you my shield for what I paid for it a few months ago unless you know where to get one cheaper or free. Let me know.

You might want to consider putting the mid pegs back on. It sure is nice to have an alternate position when you're on a long run.

Good Luck

Tom

I agree with what TOMMAY said, You'll be so thankful you left the mids on after about an hour on the road..

He'll always have the stock shield to use if he wants to go that route. Not all of us find the need for mid position pegs. They are totally useless to me - they make me feel like I'm riding a crotch rocket or a dirtbike and my legs get cramped.
