I love the look of the Sideshots, and I like the fact that they are connected in the middle.
But, do you have toremove them to check and change the oil?

Just checked for someone the other day....you can get the dipstick out, its a little tight but you dont have to force anything to get it out. I have NO concerns about maintanence whatsoever, wont need to remove the pipes.

I liked mine... till one ended up on the highwaywatch those corners , leaning to hard= breaking exhaust brackets = exhaust finally breaks off at head in the middle of BFE kansas 1,000 miles from home and a 1000 more to go

first pic is of the factory exhaust with the baffels removed. that 4" outlet gave it a deep sound. the second is of the current set up, factory Harley "off road only" pipes that I got off ebay, NOS. that part number is now a SE part number, but there was no SE when these pipes were made. I like the sound from the duels better.
