Just did the bars and risers on my 08 FXDC. The 4" will be to short and may interfere with your tank gauge.
I ran 5 1/2" pullbacks with drag bars. Im 5'9" and its perfect. All stock cables will work with the exception of the brake line. Its to long in my opinion but to some it would be fine.
I would post some pics but have not yet figured that out yet. Would be happy to email you some pics.
Just installed 4.5" Pullbacks on my 08 FXD.
Only issue is the Handlebar mounted Speedo now sits straight up.
Not difficult to see, but somewhat awkward to look at.
That being said, it does sit higher so I don't have to to look down as far to see it.
And it did move my bars
I put 4.5" pullback risers on my '07 FXDC. No wiring changes at all, some minor modification to the rear brake line (remove the triple tree bracket and gently bend the brake line). Other than loosening the l/r controls and adjusting the turn signals, was one of the easiest installs I've done. I did replace the stock bushing and bolts with a flush mount bolt and poly bushings.
Sig pic show the outcome...be glad to post some closer views if anyone is interested.
This is my 07 with 4.5" pullback risers and the stock handlebar. As others have said, all thecables and wires are fine. The brake line is a little tight, but it'll work if you bendthe hard line at the master cylinder. I ended up replacing my brake line with a braided Goodridge cause there wasn't enough slack to rotate the handlebar to where I wanted it.
