Default Windshield Bag?

I have an 07 Lowrider with the Quick-Release Detachable Windshield-Standard Height (Part #58346-06). I'm having trouble finding a windshield bag that will fit. Have gone to both local HD's and they have nothing that will fit because of the curve in the windshield. Any suggestions on where I can get one that will fit?

I also would like to find a different sissy bar bag. (Possibly a tombstone bag?) I don't want to put saddlebags on itbecause I don't want to cover up the paint scheme. I want something that fits the lines of the bike. The one I have on itnowtakes away from the look of the bike.

Thanks in advance!

Annie - I have the same set up on my Street Bob. A standard size leather HD windshield bag (the one with the chrome twist lock latch) works perfectly.-trust me. When you holdthe new bag up to your shield it looks like it won't fit, but once you put it on and tighten it down to the shield it's justfine. The leather will conform to the shape of the shield in a few days it'll look like it was made for it. No worries.

The HD website and the '07 catalog both show windshield bags for the newer Dynas. I'm going to guess that they aren't a very popular item, and thus the dealerships near you don't stock them. Make the guys at the accessories counter look it up and order you the proper bag.

I looked at the Harley bags and the price tag. We ended up in OKC at a motorcycle leather/clothing store one afternoon. they had vinyl windshield bags for 20 bucks look great and the metal mount inside the bag will flex to fit any windshield. by the way the vinyl bag is waterproof and wont sag after it gets wet. plus my wife was able to get a sexy leather halter with the extra money. I won twice.

Thanks for all the info! I checked the HD site, then checked a few others and found some that I like. I'm going to a couple of swap meets over the next couple of months, so I'll see what I can find there.

Sammi, that's one of the ones the dealer said wouldn't fit. I love the look of it. (said it wouldn't bend to fit the curve of the windshield)

Now.......about a sissy bar bag........

I need something big enough to hold my rain suit, tire guage and other essentials. But it needs to be one that will compliment the bike. (Unlike the one I have now. It looks like a huge ugly wart sitting on the back of my bike! [:@]) I'm sure I can find one of those at a swap meet also.

Thanks so much! Ya'll are a big help.

I bought a cheap black leather fork bag and replaced the leather and buckle fork straps with black velcro. It goes on and comes off a lot easier now.

I bought one of the HD tool bags... and after a few mods I attached it to the windshield PDQ.. soft interior and a zippered closure with an overflap.. cant beat it.
