i just wanted to say thanks to all of you for the help over the last few years. i have recently come upon a FLHRS that was too good to pass up so i am going to sell my FXDL. i appreciate your help that got me thru a number of changes and upgrades. i enjoy doing the work myself and that is so much better when you have people to support you with needed info. you all are great and i will sorely miss my dyna when i sell it. i listed it in the clasified section. as much as i like the new ride it surely does not have the same feel as riding the dyna. you seem to sit on top of it as opposed to sitting down in it. but i really like the ride and it will certainly be better for the other half. like i said it was too good a deal. In fact it may be the first time the customer tried to talk the price up. it would have been real easy to say "no it is not worth it." but in the end he knew it and would not budge. so i bought it. it is really a nice bike but i have had so much fun changing the one i have now. right before i bought the new one, i was thinking what i could change on mine this year.
Again many thanks for all the help and understanding. i will be in the bagger section now but will remain a dyna-mite at heart for quite a while.
Thanks
TL
man i wish i could but i have too many other toys. it would be silly to try and fit them all in. unfortunately i still have to work. but if i hit the lotto...
thanks again. i plan to visit. the main reason is all the bikes i see in the touring section seem to just add bags and a windshield. ok, so they add a light bar and maybe some handlebars here and there but the dyna guys make a lot of mods. they really have some great looking bikes. i will miss getting those ideas. but who knows, maybe once i really look those baggers over, i may find a few new things to try besides a radio...
you guys are great.
