Hummmm basically I just want to make sure the insurance and reg info is kept dry and easily accessible but I never thought about under something or behind something. I have an '08 with the stock solo seat that I don't have any intensions of changing. I wonder if I can slide something under that without having to take the whole thing off. Hummmmmm That would also prevent someone from taking it since they wouldn't know where it was!!
I'm all for the tubes but I'm a girlie girl and I want my bike to be balanced so I'd have to get one for each side - and they are a little much for me!!! Right now, anyways! Still trying to pay off the $1,500 Rineharts and upgrades! I LOVE THIS LIFESTYLE!!!!
Here's a suggestion: I went and got one of those clear shipping label packets. I pasted it to the bottom of my seat, then put my registration and insurance card in there. I spent 7 or 8 bucks on a knurled chromed **** to replace the phillips seat screw. Been riding in all kinds of weather, including rain, as well as washing the bike, and they are as dry as the day I put them in there.
Store tools, registration and other important items in this O-ring sealed chrome plated air dam/tool box combination. Mounts to the front motor mount bolts between the frame down-tubes. Fits SoftailÂŽ models from 1992 thru 1999, and pre-EvolutionÂŽ Big Twins (except rubber mounted Shovelhead models).
Dammit...this is such a cool idea. Lower profile than a leather bag and powdercoated black you wouldn't even know it was there.
