Custom mounted my saddle bags
I had some fun yesterday and came up with a way to mount my bags to the support bracket. This eliminated my unsightly yoke that went over the fender. I think the bike looks better now.

went to the local lowes to pick up supplies:
first I got the brackets... found in the aisle with the door hinges they come in a bag of 4 and are 2" long with two holes for mounting screws.
next I got 2 4 packs of 1" long allen bolts size 10-24.
bag of nuts and washers to fit the bolts.
total cost about 8 bucks.
marked the bags and drilled holes in the back for the bolts to attach the brackets.
mounted brackets on the inside then outside of bag... some silicone and a washer and nut to secure inside brackets.
aligned bag to the supports then installed other bracket and tightened to have it clamp down on the support.(the bracket will bend to wrap itself around the support.
feels secure... I can push down on the bags with my 200 lbs of weight and they do not move at all.

Looks really nice,did you attach those to the fender struts maybe when you get some time you could post some pics of everything you've done. Where did you relocate your turn signals to.
