I installed the same risers as yours when I put the 1-1/4" Apes on. I likem.

Pullback risers and ape's do not look good at all. Straight risers would be okay.
+1

Try straight risers, they'll come back at ya about 1/2-3/4" for every inch up you go up over stock depending on the angle of your front end. Put 3" domed straight risers on my bob - see pics below and in gallery.

But if you insist on pullbacks be very careful you get enough rise in them so you have enough clearance with the tank - especially a problem if you've installed a tank lift.

Glad ya like 'em! Think I had to change the bolts to fine thread and bend brake line a little plus turned brake cable clip on the triple tree 180 degrees. Otherwise pretty straight forward and not expensive. Also changed out the rubber dampers to poly GoodenTite ones. A little more vibration now, but no handle bar slop. Here's another shot from above:

Ooops! guess they're not quite the same. I got the ones that the clamp screws are not visible. They go in from the bottom and are a PITA if you want to make a change after you get the tank back on. Not much clearance to work, but they look good. I went with the poly bushings also. More vibration but didn't get much time on it when winter hit. Hope to get out this weekend, weather supposed to be in mid 30's. Much better than it has been.

Keith - the ones I got are called 'domed' risers and available in 3" and 5" (5" has a more hour glass tapered look). Didn't want to go so high I had to change out cables and just wanted to compensate a bit for the Mustang solo which lifted me about 1". Once I saw them on Nick Cage's Ghostrider I knew I had to have them!

Joe - thanks for the kind words - I'm a minimalist at heart from years of old school hot rodding and dabbling in architecture - Less Is More as they say. Just got to curb my new found love of chrome, but not for the bobstah - picked up a used sporty 1200S and plans are rattling around the old noggin'.

Skip - up here in the great white north we got to get them arms up to air 'em out - showers and deodorant are after thoughts! LOL! Thanks man.

I think mine look just like yours Chip, except clamp bolts go in through the lower side into the upper so they're not visible. Otherwise, same height, etc. Found one pic left that I haven't deleted and it's not a real good shot.

Keith
