New Crossbones Model
I'll wait till I see one at the dealer before I form a solid opinion. I didn't like the fatbob at first either, then saw one in person at the dealer and changed my mind completely.
One thing's for sure -- it needs some exposed rear shocks.

I loved the idea of this bike until I saw this photo. I really can't love this the riding position. My neck is already starting to ache and I haven't even sat on it yet.
Still... only real life experience with the bike will reveal the truth.
For me, the most interesting thing about this bike is how H-D snuck it out when we thought the '08 line had been fully revealed. H-D clearly looked at the Rocker production issues (and mixed reviews) and the high Fat Bob demand, then decided to dig into their vaults of upcoming designs and behaved like a smaller, more nimble company. Nicely done.
I suspect this was slated to be an '09 model that got bumped up.
H-D still has some tricks up their sleeves and as long as they can keep cranking out interesting designs (and actually hitting the streets with product) they may be able to reverse their current financial outlook.
Now, about that riding position.
You know I'm thinkin maybe the big kahuna is close................take that seat and put it on the rockerC............ and whatda ya think?
