"You DO keep the OEM speedo. I've got an 06 Super Glide Custom with the same handlebar mount you have. If you want a tach this is the way to go. You don't want the big double gauge pod, they look gay. At least in my opinion. At any rate here are some pictures of mine. The pictures aren't all that great but you should be able to get the idea of how it looks installed with the same setup. KPREESE was a GREAT help to me with regards to this installation, in fact working together we both found the best ways to actually do the install. If you need help/directions/advice just get in touch with either of us. "
Gay? I don't think so (not that there's anything wrong with that ..) LOL to each his own, I personally like the two gauges up on the bars where you don't have to look down or take your eyse off the road to read them. Just personal preference.
Well I guess i'm gay with my big old tach and speedo but you can find a billet mount in jc cycles I believe cant find my catalog but im sure they have what your looking for.
Thanks bizbro, but I'll have to post a few new photos once this winter's mods are done. New chrome, new wheel, tires, forward controls, pegs, powdercoated/custom chrome,..... Where does it all end?

Don't take it personally guys, it just one guys opinion. Most people think saddlebags look gay but hey I've got 'em and love 'em.
Nothing personal taken here, we're all just having a little fun. Dual instruments are just a preference, just like your bags. Where else can you carry stuff on a bike anyway? Would like to see a pic of the bike with the bags, permanently installed or detachable?

Mine are permanently installed, however, they are EASILY removed. There are only two bolts holding each on, I can take them off in 2 minutes if I want to ride without them. Here are some shots of the bags and the bike...nevermind the garage junk. It's winter and I can't really go out and get any nice shots.
Nice!!! I perfer the tach up on the bars myself. I've been looking for something like
your setup, but I haven't found anything that I like or could keep the lights. Where
did you find your setup and do you have any part numbers?
Thanks,
Jeff

The tach is Harley's black mini tach 68953-04. There are other finishes though and those are different part numbers.
You'll also need an ECM pin, part number is 72076-00.
If you decide you're going to do this and need help just let me know. I've pretty much figured out (with help) the best way to tackle the installation.
