How are you liking the upgraded HD shocks and mustache bar?
I like them. Shocks smoothed out the ride. No bottoming out on road imperfections. Front end handles a lot better too. Not that stock was horrible, but these are a huge improvement. As for the mustache bar, it's there for the look. I like cruisers with bars and thought is one looked the best on the bike.
Thanks big marv for the kind words. The good job goes to the artist, Kerry. He came up with the design around the racing stripe and did the work free hand. I just provided the "canvas".

QUESTION ? I changed to the 30 tooth pulley in the primary and speed o was around 8 miles to fast , had HARLEY install Dakota Digitial speed healer, odometer is now correct but now the first thru 6th gear indicator in my new combination tach speedometer does not work nor does the 6th gear light . Dealer says it will not , either I can have the correct speed or the gear indicator but not both . Any body know , True or Flase ? If dealer is right guess I will leave it with the correct speed.
The gear indicator is a function of the computer taking inputs from engine rpm and wheel speed. Based on the RPM of the engine and the speed of the wheel, it can figure out which gear you're in. Example: (arbitrary numbers) 60mph wheel speed and 2000rpm, it can figure you're in 6th. 60mph and 2500rpm, it figures you're in 5th.
Since you've changed the parameter of your wheel speed vs engine speed relationship, the computer doesn't understand what gear you're in.

Hope that helps.
The ECM doesn't know how fast your wheel is going it figures everything out from your Vehicle Speed Sensor which is in your transmission. I have changed my gearing to 30T pulley and re-programmed my ECM using a TTS Mastertune. My Speedo is correct and my gear indicator and 6th gear lights work as well.

THANKS MUCH , AT LEAST I NOW KNOW WHY, SO IT LOOKS LIKE I AM STUCK WITH WHAT I HAVE FOR NOW AS I HAVE THE SCREAMIN EAGLE SUPER TUNER PRO Unless I decide to make a tuner change. I hear good things about the TTS MASTERTUNE . AGAIN THANKS FOR YOUR TIME ON ANSWERING THIS QUESTION FOR ME
