I’ve been searching the internet for the past few weeks and basically came to the conclusion that I had to either pick an exhaust system based on looks or based on performance. I went with performance this time around and ordered the RB Racing LSR 2 into 1. Since I have such large cams, I went with the B style in hopes to increase low end torque. I am not sold on the sound. Unfortunately I will have to wait upwards of 6 weeks to actually hear what the pipes sound like in person. Since I all ready have dyno sheets for V&H straightshots and the D&D FatCat, it will be interesting to see how the LSR stack up.
Did you see the numbers? If so, how did they look? It is basically a crapshoot for me. I don’t know if the pipes will work with my setup or not. If they don’t, I will sell them and buy a new set based strictly on looks. Does anybody have any sound clips of the LSR 2-1’s. I found pro pipe clips, but not the standard LSR.
that pipe delivers great performance and i wanted it for my bike as 1st choice but i was concerned about how loud it is, not that it's loud per se, it's just that i'm after NOT making my bike overly loud yet still achieving top performance.
and i think it's a great looking pipe.
do a search at youtube for lsr 2-1 and check out metalmike's clip for sound, he posts around here as well.
I know a guy that has on on his nighttrain... loves the pipe... took almost 3 months to get! it was like calling a mom and pop place but wow what an amazing quality pipe... good sound but fantasit performance... he is basicly stock, stage 1, Sert, and the pipe and can just roast... i have seen that frnt tire come off the ground more than once! good pipe... wish i had the $$$
I ordered one in November, have yet to see it, and Im past the point of caring!
I puta Fat cat on over the weekend, and I love It!
If RB ever calls me, Ill put the word out here and maybe one of you guys could have one in a week or less!
I ordered a LSR C pipe in chrome for an 05 Dyna.
If any one is interested, PM me and ill give a heads up if it shows up.
I keep going back to the LSR 2 in 1...I think I need to just go ahead and order it. I like the pro stock, but the regular 2 in 1 "slash cut" has been really growing on me.
I'm sure it would out perform my Rinehart 2 in 1.
I'm curious too, tshamba...did you order a 1 3/4" or 2"?
