Broken throttle grip
Hello all,
Looking for ideas on how to fix a new Harley chrome/flamed hand grip i dropped and broke.
Part of the plastic that holds one of the throttle cable brass barrel things in snapped off. I glued it a day ago with an elmer "super-do-all " type glue, but it just broke off again when i was putting it on. I also lost the piece of plastic too.
I'm thinking oftrying to get the inner sleeve off the new grip and putting the oldthrottle sleeveon after peeling the old grip away (most of its worn off anyways).
I'd really hate to spendthe going price of $70-80 for a new set -this was the last thing to do on my new handlebars/internal wires/all chrome controls project -unbelievable %$*&.

Take to your dealer, show them and tell em just how broke you are (probably be true). They may replace it for you, if it's brand new.
Most dealers want to keep you happy, so you will spend more, later.
