Default Ordered my new rims...

Hey Fat Bobbers -

I just ordered my new rims:

But, I need to know what hub/bearing size??? Does anyone know if it is 1" or 3/4" on the new Fat Bobs?

Also opinions, since I have a couple weeks to waitfor them to be cut, Flat or Glosson the rims and powder coated or chrome hubs?

I'm leaning towards Gloss Black rim with Chrome Hubs.

I wouldn't spend alot on the chrome hubs. Won't see much with the twin rotors. Your signature says denim black, I'd go with flat black spokes.

Chrome is not an extra charge. I thought the gloss black would set off the denim black plus be easier to clean/maintain.

You might be right about the gloss black, myself I'd match it and let the rotors and claipers "set off the denim black". I'd probably skip the chrome hubs too, you'll never get them clean again anyways, unless you think the bike is just gonna be a show bike, it won't be worth it IMO. Maybe get some fancy style rotors.

ps not sure what you mean by "maintaining" the wheels. Cleaning I would think would be the same no matter which finish they are. If anything I'd say the flat would be easier to keep clean, and wouldn't need it as often as glossy paint.

Or expressed in more alarming terms: 1" = 25.4mm
