I was thinking about putting risers on my stock SG handlebars. what do you guys think? I don't know if it can even be done without major fabrication mods. Has anybody else done this or anybody have any pics of them??

Unless Harley came out with some crazy octagonal handlebars the only think you should have to do is find a riser that matches the diameter of your handlebars and that will work with your hardwar/trees. They're a 15-min mod.

I made my own 2in risers that i will send you if you want them? I just took them off the bike... they worked great for a few years and look great still! PM me if you are intrested or want to see somepics... i may have a few pics in my gallery...

If you go to 4" pullback risers, you'll have to decide if you can live with the speedo sticking up like a race tack. Some like it, I didn't. Or you could use a mounting bracketlike RA51 has that lets the speedo stay in the original position (you'll have to ask him where that one came from). I have a pair of H-D 4" pullbacks I'll sell you cheap. PM if interested.

I've also seriously been contemplating 4" pull packs on my '07 wide glide. One thing that I need to know is if there is enough play in all control wires/cables to do this without buying new cables,etc. The clutch cable looks long enough and there may be enough harness play to do it but the front brake line is rigid down to the bottom of the triple tree. Guess I'll be buying a longer brake line to compensate.
