Harley part numbers?

Harley part numbers?
you'll pardon my ignorance in all this...but, i'm looking for a chrome tranny hardware kit for my '07 street bob...called the dealer with the number (34856-06A)...says they don't have it, BUT, they have a 34856-06 (no "A")....what does the "A" mean, and is there a difference between the two part numbers?
.....replacing clutch cable, so i figured i'd replace bolts with chrome to dress it up a bit

There doesn't appear to be a difference, the Harley parts catalogue only lists the -06 but if you input the part number at other dealers like Adventure Harley or Chicago Harley it only comes up with the -06A, where did you source the -06A number anyway as it's not in the Harley catalogue?

well, i got the -06A number from the online catalog at harley under my bike's application....and then, yes, i went to zanottis and the number-minus the "A" didn't come up....BUT, i went to the dealer and the parts lady behind the counter explained it to me....apparently, it has something to do with including the '08 models....AND, it was only 35.00 as opposed to the 54.00 harley lists it for...???
