Service Manual Question
Greetings all! I'm stopping by this forum for a friend that has a '05 Dyna Super Glide and he wants to start making some mods (like pulling off the California junk, not needed in Maryland).
I'm an auto-mechanic and used to work on bikes.... thought I'd help, but not being familiar with Harley's thought we shoudl get a good service manual.
Looking for yourrecommendations... Does Harley produce a good one (on the HD web site it physically looked thin)? I'm kind of partial to Clymer's for Metric bikes - they're usually ok.

The HD service manual is just about a necessity if you are going to do your own work. The HD parts manual is also a good investment; it shows exploded views of every assembly on the bike. And the parts list is great if you are ordering parts over the internet.

Question on those V&H pipes..... looks like the clearance for road rash is VERY likely.... ever scrape those puppies (in one pic it looks like they are above the frame, in the other under it)?

did all my mods, stage 1,2,3 port ,cams etc w/clymer.Very sufficiant for 18 bucks
