I posted a thread on this subject which is active. Ryda(formerly Ratbasturd) is in the process of using Fork Lowers from a Fat Bob, and he's posting his progress. If you go to the Member List and look up any of the following, you'll get some good info: Jay Risk, Ryda or Ratbasturd, Tomato, Bukanero. Howard of MotorcycleMetal.com has weighed in with great information, too. Good luck, and if you do a conversion to dual front brakes, let me know. Thanks. Jay
there was a thread a while back where a newer dyna was converted to a dual front disc set up. anyone have the link to that, i can't seem to find it.
If you don't care about black sliders the easiest way to do duals on a bike with 49mm forks is to use the right side of the 07 Road/Street Glide.
I would have gone that way but I want as little down time as possible, my bike is my only transportation.
Has anyone verified this? I ask becasue I have only seen dual disc brakes on street bob's by using vrod sliders. Just making sure we have other options for doing this.
