dyna seat/backrest

hey guys,will the seat and backrest off a older dyna (99-) fit the newer (08) models,or is the older model backrest too narrow?

Given that the part numbers are different, I would say no. But maybe someone knows 100% for sure.

I'm Not sure if it would fit. The Dyna frame was changed in 06. At least the LowRider was.... A lot of the parts I look look for that I prefer areonly available forthe 99 to 05Dyna.

yea,thats kinda what I thought. I actually think the rear fender on the 06-08 are wider are'nt they,making the backrest unusable?

I asked the same question about my '06 Super Glide. The tire got wider to a 160 and as such, the hardware for backrests and sissy bars changed also. 2006 appears to be a year where a lot changed on these bikes making backwards compatability with older parts difficult.
