I cant speak for fuel injected bikes but from experience I can say they are impossible to tune right and cost to much for what they are on a carborated bike . some people are more into dressing up there bike than the performance side and that is cool also so if thats your bag then the hyper-charger sure looks cool and definatly turns heads and draws comments. one thing for sure its nice to have options and great having this forum to hear both sides of an idea.

I hear that. I bought one for my scooter, purely for the 'cool factor' and after hearing more about them, I decided against even trying it on the scoot.
Still got it someplace in the garage.
Hmmm, swap meet fodder.
hey flyrod I have installed hyper-chargers on "hundreds"of customer bikes and quite a few of my own and found them to work great on motors up to 113ci any bigger and they can restrict air flow.they out perform screamin eagle and just as well as s&s or big sucker .they really do work as good as they look. and anybdy's that doesn't just needs anew setup guy
don't know what you mean impossible to tune on a carb bike.. guess that makes me a really great tuner. hypercharger was one of the first things I bought Yes for the looks the performance advantge on a stock bike is all at the top end add cams and pipes and it works very well .. love mine of cours I only have 40 thou on mine and could change my mind
I've never had one but considered one. From what I've heard and others have indicated here, they are mainly for looks. As far as an upgrade goes, I believe you treat them as any other stage 1 a/c. Nothing really different or more powerful about them, just looks cool.
