hawkyou, you won't run out of gas quicker. The lift actually corrected a problem I was having with my gauge. Before, it never showed full, even when it was and the light always came on way to early. Now it works exactly as I would have expected when stock.

2" lift here with T-bars (not brand name street slammers). No clearance issues for me. Love it.
