I realize you asked for Street Bob photos, but here is my Super Glide with the chrome strut covers. This should give you an idea of what the difference is between the chrome and the brushed aluminum.

I think the 06 Streetbobs had chrome as stock. I bought these from a guy with an 06.

agreed... any 06 had them... i have tons of pics with mine with them on there in my gallery... i have since traded them wiht a member and powder coated the brushed ones black

I just had mine powder coated. They were the stock brushed covers. I also had the small oval hole cover that comes with the docking hardware welded on before the powder coating. Turned out really nice. I'm still in the reassembly process, but I'll post pics when I get it all back together.
