Thanks for the pictures yall. It def. makes my decision to switch much easier. I just hope they are comfortable, but thats only secondary to looking like a badazz.
here are some things to look at. If you put a drag bar on your existing risers then the bars will hit the tank. You can't change your risers without changing the top tree. If you do change your tree then check out wild 1's site wild1inc.com. They have all kinds of drag bars and risers set ups.
A set of 31" straight drag bars will hit the tank on an 08? Is this only at full lock, or what? I didnt know this was going to be a problem. Thanks in advance for any info.
Do you have to change all the cables and brake linein orderto change to drag bars on an 07' SB? I actually want to use the Low Rider bars and similar pull back risers. I did post this question but withno replies, then found this topic and swapping to drag bars is similar to what I want to do. However,I can not seem to find posts on what you had to do to complete the swap. Any advise would be appreciated
Thanks
CB
Hello you need 6" risers. Anything smaller and you will hit the tank.I tried 4 1/2" to small.I also found the 27" bars a bit narrow.Went for 30".Handles a lot better with them.
My bikes a 2008 Dyna Super Glide Custom. Think they should be the same fitting.
I would like to change the risers on my FatBob ,but the dealer tells me I would have to take it in and they would try to fit something for me "trial and error". 'cause apparently they haven't invented risers for that model yet.
