Great looking bike love the retro emblems, ive just got 08 sb starting to get the gear to custom, cant decide between V&H black pipes or the 2-1 chrome pipe, can you let me know were you got them from Please. Thinking of going with the WilleyG derby, timming etc covers..twin lights of fatbob..intrested what you think...
Yeah it just bolted on but I have the Arlen Ness Big Sucker intake, it won't fit the stock set-up.
Did you install Gasket Kit P/N 29591-99 before putting the air cleaner cover on? It fits right on the Arlen Ness gasket and prevents the cover from cracking where the bolt is. Ask me how I know this!
No, but I saw that on the website. I'll go ahead and order one.
your bike looks GREAT ..... with one exception - and it's not your doing.
HD - cheaped out with the strut covers on the newer dynas. That brushed look is f'n nasty.
either black or chrome will work on your bike quite nicely. that brushed look doesn't go with anything.
I'm jabbing the MOCO here, and not you - I love what you have done to it.

Yes, the strut covers are killing me. I have chrome and then chrome and then the brushed look. That's the next thing to be changed along with the shocks.
BTW, does anyone have the part numbers for the chrome strut covers? I looked all over HD's website and couldn't find them.

nice bike and nice tool box cant go wrong with snap on
Thanks and yes snap-on tools are nice but heavy on the wallet. That was one of the downfalls of being a mechanic was half my paycheck was going to the snap-on man. Glad I got out when I did.
