3 year street rider here....
What is the story with fingerless gloves? Seems that there is some stigma about them here.
I got both fingerless and regular with full fingers.
But the fingerless are great 'cause I can put on my helmet, take change from my pocket, pee and pick my nose with my gloves on. (not in that order) I realize they won't do me a hell of alot of good in a sliding incident... but
But if they are not cool... I'll toss the damn things.
Wassup with the fingerless "thing"?
Prolly the wrong forum but I know my fellas here won't steer me wrong.
With that said, I personally so no point in gloves with the fingers cut out of them.
There are several reasons to wear them (a couple already mentioned above), but I'm not about to get into it and stretch out one of these "what's cool" threads. Oops....too late![:@]
I have been riding since 1971 and even on my 71 Honda CB100 up to todays bike I have worn gloves. I started in motocross and even wore the dreaded "brain bucket". The fingerless gloves give you a non slip grip and as far as chaps, etc,I wear them on day trips or when the temp drops. To this day I wear whatever suits my ride (except for the helmet) and belive that you should do as you please not what pleases others....
Any type off glove has got to offer protectionso is a good idea, However saw a guy here in the uk buying leather cowboy chaps couldnt help myself..RAWHIDE...lol
