Wanted Dead Or Alive by Bon Jovi (Chris Daughtry did a great cover of this, too.)
Simple Man by Skynyrd
Break Away by ZZ Top
Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd (Although I prefer the Aaron Lewis version.)
And why hasn't anyone mentioned BORN TO BE WILD? Or BAD TO THE BONE?
I'm a big jazz fan. . . .When I'm riding I think of early jazz by Louis Armstrong, or Bix Beiderbecke, or the first decade of Ellington recordings (love the trumpeter Bubber Miley) etc.
Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is Born to be Wild. I remember watching Easy Rider for the first time when I was a kid and loving that intro scene... not that I understood the rest of the moviehttp://youtube.com/watch?v=V7tuUG6dLv4(No I'm not that old. I just watched Easy Rider with my dad in the 80s).
But also SoiL - Breaking Me Down and a few other tracks. Dragula. Street Fighting Man.
Some reason I always think of the songs I was raised around: Allman Brothers, midnight ride. Anything by ZZtop. Kansaa, carry on my wayward son. Boston, Smokin. Aerosmith, back in the saddle again..............man I really hate winter now that I have thought of those tunes............
I don't know, I've been listening to allot of old hair bands lately, Motley crew "Live Wire" or "Kick Start My Heart" comes to mind as does Ozzys "Over the Mountain" or Maiden's "The Trooper" Then there are times when I don't want to hear anything but the Thunderheader working up and down the rev range.
