Here in Austin it's been yoyo'ing between unseasonably warm and regular winter weather. 'Salright.
Global warming for Texas means that winters get warmer and summers are about the same or milder (at least that's what a scientific minded friend tells me and is what seems to be happening!)

Yep. You live up North.
I think the last time it snowed here down South
was in about 1984. Thirteen inchs one night.

I lived in San Antonio in 01 and 02. It was funny, a little under an inch of snow, and the whole town was shut down.
You could tell who was from out of town,anyone outon the road!

Hey, Sob, it was pretty nice ridin to work today! Bad thing is the crap we got comin in tomorrow. Gonna suck havin to drive my truck to work. No offense to the folks up north but boy am I glad I live here. Don't think I could handle their winters.

I went for a quick ride after work and I believe they spread some sand on the roads from our last wintry mix. I would be careful on overpasses until we get some rain to wash it off the roads. I did give it a little going around a corner and the back end slid out normal riding for me(LOL) but might spook someone not expecting it.

Ihad 5 1/2 inches 40 miles north of Dallas on the last roundbookended by 78 and 70 degree days, this round (tonight), they're saying 4-8 inches comming.

Yup, nice enough to mow the yard in shorts yesterday and tonight, more snow and sleet. I'd expect that it's going to be worse than it was two days ago. Travel to work tomorrow might be a bad idea. [sm=biker.gif][sm=gears.gif][sm=wtf.gif]

I live in Allen, north of Dallas, and had about three inches of it on my truck when I went out to go to work that night at 10:15. Took a pic the next morning and got up that afternoon and it was all gone. Heard this morning 2-5" in Mckinney and up to eight farther north. Texas, gotta love it.
