Hey Topspin, Don't ya just hate the "this should be an easy bolt on Mods" Man, They never are. I have one on the way from ebay and should be here in a few days. I'll let you know what I come up with as well. Thanks for the heads up, maybe between the both of us we can figure the Damm thing out.

Sounds good... three hours here and the brace is just holding down the washing machine lid. I just launched the step stool I sit on out into the street from the garage. I'm done for the evening.
I feel your pain and frustration. Hang in there and we'll both Git er Done. When I get pissed people have said scream into a pillow.
I say F&ck that ****, I'm gonna launch something or damm sure the neighbors will hear Me a block away.[:@]
Mine went on my Bob without incident. However, I DO remember some people complaining awhile back that theirs came with the WRONG screws, or something to that effect. Might try and see if that can be pulled up in a search. Sorry, I don't remember if it was a Wide Glide issue or Dyna in general. Good luck, Bros...
PS-I might add that I cannot tell a bit of difference with it as compared to without it. Looks kewl though, more chrome...
it fits just below the dust caps. Check the length of your screws. Mine were way too short and had to go to Ace Hardware to get the correct length ones. Other than that, it installed with not problems.
I just received mine today and It looks pretty straight forward. Two end caps with allen screws and when you flip it over there are 2 allen screws on each sidefor fine adjustment.
Looks like a 32nd of an inch would snug them up to the forks, then put the outer clamps on. The directions aren't that specific as to where to mount, but do mention you can mount to the desired gap above the fender. Looks to me like about 1/2" to play with, up or down.
Sorry to hear you are selling. I happen to like the kury one better but Got a screamin deal on the Screamin Eagle. Pardon the pun.
Maybe they sent the incorrect allen screws with your kit. I'm not sure, but our part numbers are the same.
Good luck and post some pics of the wheels when you get them on your Cool Machine!!!
Cheers, Jeff
Some recommend lifting the front end off the ground to relieve tension on the forks before applying. Others say just keep the wheel pointed straight ahead and the scoot as level as possible while mounting. I used method number two, since I had no way to lift the front...
