Got vance and hines straightshot slip-ons and fuel pak on 2007 Lowrider.Runs good.Wanting to change to vance and hines big shot staggered, like the look.Any opinions appreciated.
Have the se a/c and everything runs well, just want a change@10,000 miles and like the look of the big shots better.
Yes, they do look very good. I added a PC 3 and big city thunder baffles and this baby is loud as hell. Much cleaner look then the slipons. I have the python staggered but I believe they are the same as V&H.
I just ordered V&H Big Shots for my '06 SuperGlide. Will I need to Tune / Remap the computer to prevent engine damage? I understand I will get more performance if I tune but I am not really concerned about that. I just want improved sound so that I can actually hear the bike run when I am crusing at 65 into a headwind. The stock pipes are just too quiet. I really don't want to tune unless I have to. I figured that the O2 sensors will adjust the fuel/air mixture for a proper balance so that the bike doesn't run too lean. Can anyone confirm this?
I just ordered my V&H Big Shot Staggards and Fule Pak. I put on a SE A/C yesterday and took off my stock pipes waiting for the new ones. Should be a major improvement in style and performance.
I run the quiet baffles in my BSS; nothing quiet about them! Deeper tone and pretty dang loud! I have always worn earplugs while riding (because of wind/engine noise) so they don't bother me too much. However, the bike really sounds good!

m.a.c.
I'm not trying to "quiet" them down, just bring down the exhaust note to a deeper sound.
