Hello everyone, question on riding 2up with a windshield. I believe you are supposed to set thewindshield at nose level for the driver, will it effect the passenger, such as buffeting? Thanks.
If you do not have a 2 up ws you will need to get a taller one. The passenger sits higher and will get beat to death on the highway. Wearing full face helmets can help make it more comfortableon long trips and as a plus you could add some helmet speakers and hook up some tunes to cut the boredom.
of course everyone has the right to do it thier own way .
the sheild should be at a height that you the driver can just see over the top.
The reason is in rain, or fog looking throught glasses or eye protection and a sheild is a pain.
Also when riding in some areas at sometimes of the year you top a small hill drop down to the saddel between the next sheild fogs in a split second.
put this to the test you'll see
yea, i have a windshield and if it not high enough it will be uncomfortable for the passenger. Just make sure sure they wear those sun glasses with the foam or some kind of insulation. That will really help out.
